Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk in Avon, NY to deliver exceptional customer service in our Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers, share product knowledge, and maintain inviting displays while stocking and merchandising products.

The role requires comfort with store technology, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior retail or food service experience helps, but is not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
