Sysco is hiring a Fresh Cuts Production Associate for the day shift at Freshpoint Pittsburgh - Warrendale. The role supports the line leader, maintains safety and sanitation, and ensures the daily production run meets quality and productivity targets.

You will handle knife work, operate equipment, and participate in GMP and SQF compliance, with opportunities to learn lean manufacturing and grow within a global foodservice leader.

Qualifications

• Prefer High School or GED.
• Experience in high-volume warehouse/production preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP policy preferred.
• Ability to use sharp knives and hand machines.

Responsibilities

• Assist line leader with daily production tasks.
• Identify problems and recommend actions to improve performance.

Factors that may be used to determine rate of pay include specific skills, work location, work experience and other individualized factors# $18.00 per hour# Mon-Fri 8:00am - finish (usually 8 hours, up to 12 hours)**JOB SUMMARY**The Production Associate is responsible for aiding the line leader with daily transactions and maintaining a safe, organized, clean and efficient operation on their production line. They must be able to proactively identify and analyze problems and recommend appropriate action to improve performance to the line Leader. They ensure that produce of the highest quality is made ready and available for the day’s runs at an acceptable productivity level. **RESPONSIBILITIES*** Performs to standard rate for assigned production line and communicates to leadership when company standard is not met.* Be aware of production performance KPIs.* Maintains a safe and clean workspace.
