Job summary

The Production Associate at US1107 FreshPoint Dallas, Inc. assists the line leader with daily production tasks and ensures a safe, organized, and efficient operation on the production line.

You will proactively identify problems, analyze root causes, and recommend actions to improve line performance and quality of produce for daily runs. Typical duties include maintaining sanitation, meeting GMP standards, handling equipment, and adhering to SQF guidelines while supporting a high-volume

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Experience in high-volume warehouse/production preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP/sanitation preferred.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lb and stand long periods.
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• Limited computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs to standard rate for assigned production line and communicates when not met.
• Be aware of production performance KPIs.
• Maintains a safe and clean workspace and sanitation readiness.
• Maintains quality specifications of unfinished products.
• Prepares, cuts, and repacks product per customer specs.
• Operates machinery such as potato peelers and bag sealers.
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of the work area.
• Adheres to sanitation and safety procedures for SQF standards.
• Colleagues must follow GMPs.

Mon-Saturday 7AM start time. Could start earlier with Overtime. 8-12 hour shifts.

JOB SUMMARY

The Production Associate is responsible for aiding the line leader with daily transactions and maintaining a safe, organized, clean and efficient operation on their production line. They must be able to proactively identify and analyze problems and recommend appropriate action to improve performance to the line Leader. They ensure that produce of the highest quality is made ready and available for the day's runs at an acceptable productivity level.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs to standard rate for assigned production line and communicates to leadership when company standard is not met.
• Be aware of production performance KPIs.
• Maintains a safe and clean workspace. Ensures work area is washdown ready for sanitation to finish including the floor, tables, cutting boards, and equipment.
• Maintains quality specifications of unfinished products.
• Prepares, cuts, and repacks product per customers' specifications.
• Operates machinery such as potato peelers, bag sealers, and others.
• Responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of the work area.
• While adhering to sanitation and safety procedures for handling and production to SQF (safe quality food) standards.
• Colleagues must follow GMPs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Prefer High School or GED but not required.
• Experience: Related industry experience preferred.
• General understanding of processing procedures preferred.
• Experience working in a high-volume warehouse/production facility preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP policy preferred.
• Ability to use and handle sharp knife, peelers, and hand machines.
• Skills: Ability to communicate effectively.
• Bi-lingual preferred
• Limited computer skills
• Willingness to learn lean Manufacturing processes.
• Physical Demands: Able to lift and or move 25 lb. to 50 lb.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to stoop and bend frequently.
