Job summary

Ridley’s Family Markets is seeking a Produce Fresh Cut Clerk to maintain guest service, prepare fresh fruits, vegetables, and salads for the cut fruit area, and support store management.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and prior food prep/produce or retail experience. Strong teamwork and a commitment to safety are essential; must be able to stand long periods and lift up to 40 pounds. Flexible to evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience: Food preparation, produce department and retail store experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outstanding guest service.
• Prepare fresh fruits, vegetables and salads for the cut fruit area.
• Ensure quality, freshness, selection and adequate quantity to meet sales.
• Follow safety and sanitation rules and regulations.
• Operate related equipment safely (e.g., knife, scale, pallet jack).
• Keep work area, cooler and equipment clean and organized.
• Assist in training and development of peers; engage guests pleasantly.
• Uphold merchandising and department cleanliness standards.
• Perform duties safely, accurately and with integrity.
