Shaw’s and Star Market is hiring a Fresh Cut Produce Clerk to handle fresh fruits and vegetables—slicing, dicing, and packaging produce to perfection. You’ll check for freshness, maintain clean and organized prep areas, and create attractive displays that delight our customers.

You’ll also assist with inventory management, restocking, and customer service. This role is active and fast-paced, ideal for someone who enjoys working with food, has a positive attitude, and thrives in a team‑oriented

Qualifications

• Food prep experience in grocery, food service, or produce prep preferred.
• Knife skills and safety awareness with attention to safety and precision.
• Ability to identify quality produce and follow food safety guidelines.
• Friendly and helpful attitude with the ability to assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Slice, dice, and package produce.
• Check freshness and maintain prep areas.
• Create attractive displays and assist with inventory and restocking.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly.
• Work quickly and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized workspace.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
