Position Details

We are currently looking for a freelance French Teacher for one of our clients in Burlington, Canada.

• Location : At the teacher’s home/officein Burlington, ON
• Student Level : Beginner
• Student Age Group : 45-55
• Student’s Schedule : once per week, (Any day is fine, though Tuesdays or Wednesdays would be ideal.Late evening, depending on the commute time after 6 PM.)
• Student’s Preferred Start Date : 2026-10-13
• Student’s Motivation : We would like to be more a) respectful of and b) comfortable in speaking French when we visit Quebec and New Brunswick. We believe we need both general and conversational French to interact in public, on transit, in shops, restaurants and chats with people there. We hope that this course will get us started so we can do some self directed work before moving on to higher levels.

Ideal Candidate

• Be a native French speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification

• Live within 30 km of the specified location
