Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Freight Audit Analyst II (Finance) to optimize freight audit operations, drive data-driven decisions, and support transportation spend management in a global aerospace setting.

You will report to the Logistics Manager and operate on a hybrid schedule from Phoenix, AZ or Charlotte, NC, collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce costs and improve invoice accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related quantitative field.
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• 3+ years advanced Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.).
• 2+ years program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or related field experience.
• Experience navigating and using common TMS/freight audit software tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee freight audit operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency across high-volume invoice processing.
• Develop analytical models / automation efforts and engage with operations & other business partners.
• Promote customer focus and cost reduction by collaborating with financial analysts and business partners.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual effort and enhance audit effectiveness.
• Resolve billing issues with Logistics Service Providers, internal procurement, and accounts payable to investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with technology and payable teams to ensure timely freight invoice payments and good vendor experience.
• Identify opportunities to reduce freight costs through analysis and communication with LSPs and system vendors.
• Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
