Ideal candidates will have LTL industry background, strong supervisory skills, and knowledge of hazmat, OSHA, and DOT regulations, with a focus on improving service quality and profitability.

Qualifications

• 4 years of related work experience in freight operations or a related field.
• Supervisory or management experience is required.
• Experience in the less-than-truckload (LTL) industry preferred.
• Experience with hazardous materials regulations, OSHA and DOT rules and regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery service provided to customers.
• Guide the daily operations of the service center.
• Oversee revenue, profit and cost controls.
• Ensure proper staffing, utilization and management of personnel.
• Mentor and manage all personnel at the facility.
