Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions (CCFS) is hiring a Freight Handler for the 1pm–9:30pm shift in Reno, NV. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts to load/unload trailers and move freight through the facility. Pre-employment screening applies, and you will use scanners to document movements across our network.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate handling, and adherence to quality standards in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of verifiable forklift experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be 18 years of age and able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 90 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts.
• Use handheld scanners to track and document freight.
• Identify, sticker, and stage inbound freight.
• Verify the condition of freight to meet quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
