Responsibilities

• Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Prepare, process and submit required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.
• Track shipments and provide regular updates to customers on shipment status.
• Manage relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws, including customs and trade laws.

FREIGHT FORWARDER, OCEAN IMPORT, AIR & SEA US

A Freight Forwarder Ocean Import is responsible for managing the importation and exportation of goods by ocean, including all aspects of the logistics process such as customs clearance, carrier booking, cargo tracking, documentation, delivery or pick up of goods, and communication with customers and third party service providers. This role involves coordinating with various parties including carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the importation of goods by ocean, including customs clearance and delivery to thefinal destination
• Manage the exportation of goods by ocean, including carrier booking and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels.
• Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensuretimelydelivery of goods
• Prepare, process,submitrequired documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other relevant paperwork
• Track andmonitorshipments and provide regular updates to customers on the status of their shipments
• Manage relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
• Collaborate with other internal departments, such aslogistics, finance, and operations, to ensuretimelyand efficient service delivery

Educational background / Work experience

• Prior experience in freightforwarding,logistics, or a related field is preferred
