Job summary

Sam's East, Inc. is hiring a Forklift Operator at our Houston, TX location. The role emphasizes safe forklift operation, efficient stocking, and assisting members with purchases and questions. You will maintain a clean, organized sales floor and support club pickup orders to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 90 days of prior forklift experience and certification.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely according to company standards and procedures.
• Receive, stock, and organize merchandise from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Assist members with self-service technology, purchases, and product questions.
• Maintain safety and sanitation, report unsafe conditions and ensure area is clean and well-organized.
• Support club pickup orders by picking, staging, and ensuring timely fulfillment.
