C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is hiring a Freezer Selector in York, PA. You will pick, gather and organize products for delivery to local customers.

The role requires standing, lifting, and operating pallet jacks in a cold freezer environment, with training provided and opportunities for career progression. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour (base $22.00 + $1.00 freezer premium) with uncapped earning potential; top performers earn up to $35+ per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods and remain active.
• Experience in freezer environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick items using order sheets or an audio headset.
• Stack items on pallets and prepare for loading.
• Ensure orders are accurate and safe per procedures.
• Operate double walkie-rider or electric pallet jack to move cases.
• Apply labels and wrap products securely for transport.
• Report discrepancies in quantities or descriptions to supervisor.
• Perform equipment inspections and complete forms.
• Follow safe lifting practices and SOPs.

As a Freezer Selector, you’ll pick, gather & organize product and prepare orders for delivery to local customers. Job Description

• Starting total pay of $23.00 per hour ($22.00/hour base + $1.00 Freezer Premium)
• Full Time - 1st Shift - 6:00am - 2:30pm
• After Training, uncapped earning potential through performance incentive! Top Performers earn up to $35+ per hour!

You will contribute by:

• Picking various items by using order sheets or an audio headset
• Stacking items on a pallet for wrapping and loading at the bay doors
• Ensuring accuracy to orders while adhering to our safety standards
• Operating a double walkie-rider or electric pallet jack to remove cases of products from storage rack & place on pallet and apply selection labels to appropriate cases (not in all cases)
• Utilizing proper wrapping techniques to ensure safety of product to prevent damages
• Informing Supervisor of any differences in case quantity and/or description
• Performing equipment inspections & completion of appropriate form
• Frequent safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
• Having the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures

• Walking between 6-12 miles per day on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more

• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
