Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Freezer Manager in our New York area distribution environment. You will oversee frozen and dairy inventory, enforce storage and handling standards, and support daily freezer operations to maintain product availability and organization.

The role emphasizes food safety, accurate inventory practices, and leadership of staff to maintain proper freezer organization. This position is onsite in a fast-paced retail/warehouse setting with varied shift opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support daily freezer operations to ensure product availability and organization
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through proper storage, rotation, and replenishment
• Ensure all products are stored and handled in accordance with company and food safety standards
• Monitor product condition and remove any unsellable or damaged items
• Support and guide staff in maintaining proper freezer organization and procedures
• Assist with merchandising and product placement within freezer areas
• Support receiving processes by verifying incoming frozen and dairy product for quality and accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance within freezer and dairy storage areas

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily freezer operations to ensure product availability and organization
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through proper storage, rotation, and replenishment

Work Environment / Expectations

Primarily retail or warehouse environment with temperature-controlled areas. Requires standing, walking, and handling products for extended periods. May require schedule flexibility based on department needs.
