Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Freezer Manager to oversee frozen and dairy inventory, uphold product quality and food safety standards, and ensure accurate stock control in a high-volume retail/warehouse environment.

You will supervise daily freezer operations, maintain proper storage conditions, rotate stock, verify incoming products at receiving, support staff with proper procedures, and participate in merchandising and department teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, warehouse, or inventory operations.
• Basic understanding of inventory control and product handling.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily freezer operations to ensure product availability and organization.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through proper storage, rotation, and replenishment.
• Ensure all products are stored and handled in accordance with company and food safety standards.
• Monitor product condition and remove any unsellable or damaged items.
• Support and guide staff in maintaining proper freezer organization and procedures.
• Assist with merchandising and product placement within freezer areas.
• Support receiving processes by verifying incoming frozen and dairy product for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance within freezer and dairy storage areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily freezer operations to ensure product availability and organization
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through proper storage, rotation, and replenishment

Work Environment / Expectations

Primarily retail or warehouse environment with temperature-controlled areas. Requires standing, walking, and handling products for extended periods. May require schedule flexibility based on department needs.
