Job summary

Meridian Global Staffing Solutions LLC is hiring experienced Rider Electric Pallet Jack Operators and Order Selectors for a high-volume food distribution facility in New York. This full-time role includes overtime opportunities and a path to permanent employment with potential union conversion.

You will safely operate Rider Electric Pallet Jacks, select products, build pallets, and stage shipments while meeting productivity targets and following safety and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Rider Electric Pallet Jack or freezer warehouse experience preferred.
• Experienced forklift operators encouraged to apply.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred, but not required.
• Strong attendance, reliability and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in temperatures of 32°F and below.
• Ability to stand, bend, walk and reach throughout the shift.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots, gloves and other protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Rider Electric Pallet Jacks in a high-volume distribution environment.
• Accurately select and gather food products from warehouse shelves, coolers and freezers.
• Build, wrap, label and stage pallets for efficient distribution and shipment.
• Meet productivity targets of approximately 150 cases per hour while maintaining excellent order accuracy.
• Follow all workplace safety, quality control and sanitation procedures.

PAY & BENEFITS

• $19.00–$20.00 per hour — BOTH shifts
• Weekly Pay Every Friday
• $250 Performance Bonus after 90 days, subject to eligibility

TWO SHIFTS AVAILABLE

1st Shift: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM Start

2nd Shift: Sunday–Thursday | 6:00 PM Start

Both shifts offer $19.00–$20.00 per hour. Overtime available based on operational needs.
