Job summary

Sam's Club Tomball, TX is opening a brand-new club and seeks a Freezer, Cooler, and Deli Stocker Associate. You will stock, rotate, and zone products in freezer, cooler, and deli areas, keeping shelves full, accurate, and compliant with Cold Chain procedures.

As a founding team member, you will help shape the member experience, support club operations, maintain clean, sanitized displays, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service in a cold environment, contributing to a great shopping

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and zone items in freezer, cooler, and deli areas.
• Monitor temperature, dates, and quality; dispose of lower-quality items.
• Handle claims and returns; price merchandise; complete audits and logs.
• Secure fragile items; maintain clean, sanitized displays.
• Clean these areas; monitor fans, drains and doors.
• Assist members with deli orders and friendly service.
• Conduct safety sweeps; forklift spotting and hazmat guidelines.
• Operate and sanitize equipment; report issues.

What You’ll Do

• Stock, rotate, and zone products in freezer, cooler, and deli areas following Cold Chain procedures
• Monitor temperature control, expiration dates, and product quality; dispose of lower-quality items
• Handle claims and returns; sign and price merchandise; complete required audits, logs, and paperwork
• Secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise and maintain clean, sanitized, member-ready displays
• Clean freezer, cooler, and deli areas (windows, mirrors, display cases) and monitor fans, drains, and doors
• Assist members with deli orders and provide friendly, knowledgeable service
• Conduct safety sweeps; follow forklift spotting procedures and hazardous material handling guidelines
• Operate, repair, and sanitize equipment safely; report unsafe conditions and equipment issues to management

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
