The position requires an RN license, an Associate Degree in Nursing, at least 1 year of ED experience, and active certifications such as ACLS, BLS, ENPC, and PALS.

Qualifications

• RN license required and active.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of ED experience.
• ACLS, BLS, ENPC, NRP, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required or within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in the ED.
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely manner.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Teach patients and families about condition, plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up; translate medical terminology as needed.
• Prepare patients and families for future self-management after discharge.
