Job summary

The Water Valley Company is seeking an independent Video Editor to provide editing services to its Community Relations & Marketing department on a project basis. You will turn raw footage into finished videos for marketing campaigns, events, real estate and corporate communications, with final delivery across web, social, and presentations.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong storytelling, works with a professional NLE (DaVinci Resolve preferred), and is comfortable meeting deadlines while

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one professional non-linear editor.
• Own computer, editing software licenses, and equipment to perform the work.
• Strong storytelling, pacing and visual composition.
• Willingness to sign a NDA before beginning work.
• 3+ years of professional video editing experience.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into finished videos for marketing, social media, events, real estate and corporate communications.
• Assemble, cut and pace content to meet briefs and brand standards.
• Perform color correction and color grading with LUTs for a consistent look.
• Mix and enhance audio, add music, SFX, titles and graphics.
• Create motion graphics and visual effects when required by the project.
• Deliver final files in web, social, broadcast or presentation formats.
• Incorporate feedback within revision rounds and meet deadlines.
• Maintain NDA and confidentiality regarding all project data.
