thelab is seeking a freelance Editor specializing in UGC/social media to edit 5 paid social video ads for our client. Each ad runs :15–:30 seconds, with a strong emphasis on mashup style to unify multiple clips into a clear message.

The ideal candidate brings a proven background in UGC/influencer content and can drive concise storytelling across five deliverables. There is no fixed start date; ideally August 12th–20th, with an anticipated 40–60 total hours.

Qualifications

• Experience editing UGC/social content for paid campaigns.
• Ability to mashup multiple clips to communicate a clear message.
• Strong sense of pacing and storytelling for short-form video.

Responsibilities

• Edit 5 paid social video ads (:15–:30) for a client.
• Assemble clips to find the common thread and convey the message.
• Perform basic color correction and sound sweetening as needed.
