Job summary

MasterWord is seeking interpreters for in-person Spanish-English interpretation. We welcome individuals who are fluent in both languages and aim to help non-English speakers access essential services. Training and testing are provided; certification is preferred but not required.

Applicants should have a two-year degree or equivalent, and some interpretation experience, with a focus on community and professional settings.

We are looking for individuals who speak both Spanish and English fluently and are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the community by helping those who do not speak English.

This Is for In-Person Interpreting

Requirements:

• Have informalorprofessional interpretation experience
• Are fluent in both Spanish and English
• Prefer - Interpreting or language proficiency certification
• Prefer - 6 months+ experience
• No experience required(you will need to pass training and testing)
• Have at least a two-year degree (or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience) are required.

Community interpreting experience ispreferred.
