Job summary

Welocalize is seeking qualified freelance sign language interpreters to support our growing corporate clients with Deaf and hard-of-hearing team members. Interpreters may work remotely or on-site across global engagements, including conferences and healthcare settings.

Experience in healthcare, employer relations, or conference interpreting is preferred, with domain-specific requirements per engagement. We welcome interpreters fluent in one or more sign languages and holding recognized

Requirements

• Demonstrated fluency intheir designatedsign language;

• Demonstratedinterpretingexperiencein healthcare, employeerelationsand/or conference interpreting (see below for non-exhaustive list of engagements we typically work with);
• Additionaldomain-specificrequirements may be applicableon a per-engagement basis (e.g.: courts, healthcare)

Type of engagementswe workwith

we are looking for interpreters who are familiar with one or more of the following types of engagements:

• Conferences (Main industries: Technology,LifeSciences,Finance, etc.); these includes:
• C-Suite Keynotes/product launches;
• Workshops /breakout sessions;
• Employee engagement: HR/managementmeetings,onsite/remote trainings,townhalls, etc;
• Healthcare meetings:patient-doctor/nurse appointments,trial study screenings, etc.
• Music Performancesand concerts (typicallyas part of Conferences)

Please note that this work is based on project need – assignment scope will vary by engagement.
