Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a Retail Support Merchandiser in Cottonwood, AZ. This independent contractor role blends ongoing store support with project-based merchandising, offering flexible hours and the chance to influence shelf presentation for leading brands.

You’ll stock, replenish, and merchandise products, execute displays and planograms, build strong store relationships, and report on visits with photos and notes via mobile tools. Prior retail or merchandising experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and move throughout the retail environment for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting/carrying up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to lift objects and products up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Smartphones are required for reporting: IOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer; Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with OS no more than four versions behind the latest.

Responsibilities

• Stock, replenish, and merchandise products to maintain brand standards and in-store presentation.
• Execute merchandising projects, displays, resets, and promotional initiatives with precision and attention to detail.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store management and associates.
• Ensure planogram compliance and maintain product placement standards.
• Complete store visit reports, including photos and detailed feedback, using mobile reporting tools.
• Effectively communicate opportunities, challenges, and project updates.
• Manage schedules and assigned store visits to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
• Maintain a high level of quality, professionalism, and accountability across all assignments.
• Support large-scale merchandising and retail execution initiatives as needed.
