Job summary

24 Seven Talent has partnered with a popular heritage brand to recruit a Freelance Coordinator who will support raw material sourcing and development for Intimates fabric categories. The temporary role collaborates with design, product development, production, merchants, and external suppliers to secure trend-right materials that meet quality, cost, timing, and performance expectations.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Fashion/Textiles and 2+ years in materials, sourcing, or development,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Textiles, or related field.
  • 2+ years of raw materials, fabric development, sourcing, product development, or production experience.
  • Experience with intimates, lace, or comparable fabric categories preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; internet research skills.
  • Experience with PLM and Miro is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, project-management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Comfort collaborating in person with cross-functional partners and external vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Source and develop brand-appropriate, trend-right fabrics and materials for Aerie Intimates categories.
  • Review supplier seasonal collections, identify materials aligned to product needs, and present options to the design team.
  • Coordinate development of in-house-designed materials and ensure supplier submissions are received and approved on schedule.
  • Maintain daily communication with suppliers and cross-functional partners, escalating risks or timeline issues as needed.
  • Support seasonal development calendars, milestone meetings, fabric approvals, and sample execution.
  • Collect testing documentation and confirm materials meet industry and client quality standards.
  • Partner with product development and production teams on pricing, minimum order quantities, cost engineering, and re-sourcing opportunities.
  • Maintain material profile sheets, development charts, PLM updates, and physical and digital fabric libraries.
  • Research material trends, innovation, and supplier capabilities to support category strategy.
