Responsibilities

• Facilitate onsite logistics for Bisnow events in the assigned market.
• Ensure event prep and smooth running from start to finish.
• Participate in a 30-minute pre-event call to review details.
• Coordinate venues, AV, catering, and rentals beforehand.
• Collect name badges and set up registration the day before events.
• Manage onsite ticket sales and charges via Bisnow’s Square account.
• Store and manage event inventory (signs, lanyards, etc.).
• Set up signage/materials and remove them after events.
• Coordinate with sponsor clients for support during events.
• Work with party rental vendors for setup (raw space events).
• Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure a top attendee experience.

Job description

This is an hourly role that must sit local to the Chicago area and be available to work partial day events and full day events once a month. Bisnow will provide a calendar with dates for the events you will be needed for in advance. We will prioritize applicants that can travel with Bisnow for events in major cities across the U.S.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitate all onsite logistics for Bisnow events in your assigned market.
• Ensure every aspect of the event is prepared and runs smooth from start to finish.
• Participate in a 30 minute pre-event call before every event to review details.
• Work with Event Managers to ensure venues, audiovisual, catering and party rental are all confirmed prior to the event.
• Pick up name badges prior to the event and set up registration the day before every event.
• Manage onsite ticket sales and charges through Bisnow’s square account.
• Store all Bisnow event inventory (includes but is not limited to signs, lanyards, label printer, pop up banners, etc.).
• Bring and setup event signage and materials to event space prior to start of event and ensure that all is safely removed from event once concluded.
• Coordinate with Bisnow Clients who are sponsoring the event to ensure that they are pleased and supported throughout the event.
• Work with party rental vendors to set up stage, chairs, tables, etc. (raw space events only).
• Be aware of your surroundings at all time to provide an A++ attendee experience- this includes coffee, food, music, trash cans, etc.

• 1 - 3 years of Event Coordination & Registration experience.

$25 - $28 an hour
