Qualifications
3+ years of data center operations experience required.
Expert cabling skills for Cat6/6a and fiber optics are essential.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities needed.
Experience in rack and stack operations is a must.
Understanding of power distribution and UPS systems required.
Excellent documentation and communication skills are important.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments is essential.
Data center certifications preferred, such as CDCP, CDCS, or CDCE.
Vendor certifications from companies like Dell, HPE, or Cisco are preferred.
Network certifications such as CCNA or JNCIA are advantageous.
Experience with DCIM platforms is a plus.
Knowledge of ITIL practices is preferred.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
Perform structured cabling for copper and fiber optic connections.
Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
Monitor environmental systems like power, cooling, and security.
Respond to incidents and carry out troubleshooting tasks.
Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
Participate in capacity planning and system upgrades.
