Job summary

Acclaro is seeking a native Italian-speaking linguist for a long-term collaboration on international localization projects. You will perform MTPE of Italian content, sometimes provide human translation, and review/edit translations to ensure accuracy, fluency, and consistency for IT/software content.

Strong Italian grammar and terminology are essential. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of professional linguist experience, familiarity with CAT tools, and the ability to work independently with tight

• Native-level Italian proficiency.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a linguist, translator, or MTPE specialist.
• Proven experience in IT/software localization.
• Excellent command of Italian grammar, style, and terminology.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across large volumes of content.
• Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines.
• Familiarity with CAT tools and localization workflows is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a native Italian-speaking linguist to join our team for a long-term collaboration on international localization projects.

What you’ll do

• Perform Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) of Italian content.
• Occasionally provide human translation when required.
• Review and edit translated content to ensure linguistic accuracy, fluency, consistency, and naturalness.
