Job summary

Creative Spot, a Mac-based studio in downtown Columbus, Ohio, seeks a Freelance Graphic Designer to support the creative team on an as-needed basis over the next month. We are a Mac-based creative environment located in downtown Columbus, Ohio, and would prefer to work with a designer who is available to work in-house at our office when needed.

This is a great opportunity for a versatile designer who is comfortable jumping into existing projects with guidance from our Art Director, following

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of professional graphic design experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Web design (Adobe XD) and video editing skills are beneficial but not required.
• Strong typography, layout, and production skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with guidance from an Art Director.

Responsibilities

• Make design updates and revisions to existing materials.
• Maintain established client brands and brand guidelines.
• Update layouts, marketing materials, brochures, advertisements, presentations, social media, email blasts and other collateral.
• Prepare and modify files for print and digital applications.
• Collaborate with the creative team to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
• Manage multiple assignments with varying deadlines.
• Maintain consistency in typography, color, imagery, and overall brand presentation.

Creative Spot is looking for a talented Freelance Graphic Designer to support our creative team on an as-needed basis over the next month. We are a Mac-based creative environment located in downtown Columbus, Ohio, and would prefer to work with a designer who is available to work in-house at our office when needed.

This is a great opportunity for a versatile designer who is comfortable jumping into existing projects with guidance from our Art Director, following established brand standards, and producing polished, production-ready work.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Making design updates and revisions to existing creative materials
• Working within and maintaining established client brands and brand guidelines
• Updating layouts, marketing materials, brochures, advertisements, presentations, social media, email blasts and other collateral
• Preparing and modifying files for print and digital applications
• Working with our creative team to complete projects efficiently and accurately
• Managing multiple assignments with varying deadlines
• Maintaining consistency in typography, color, imagery, and overall brand presentatio

What We’re Looking For

• 2–6 years of professional graphic design experience preferred
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly:

• Web design (Adobe XD) and video editing skills would be beneficial but not mandatory
• Strong typography, layout, and production skills

• Ability to take direction, make revisions, and turn projects around efficiently

Availability

We are looking for someone who can be available on and off over the next month, depending on project workload. Hours may vary from week to week.

Our preference is for someone located in the Columbus area who can work in-house at our downtown Columbus office, although the exact schedule can be coordinated based on project needs.
