A public charging solution to address the infrastructural barriers cities face in the deployment of electric vehicle charging. We are seeking an Freelance (French Language / Québécoise ) Technical Proposal Writer or Translator to translate a (French to English) RFP and then back (English to French) as a business proposal.

This proposal is for the deployment and management of a network of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.

The candidates work is to ensure the content (which will be provided by the company) translates accurately and fully meets all tender requirements.

Key Deliverables & Scope of Work

The primary deliverable is a complete, high-quality business proposal, written entirely in Canadian French. This will include, but not be limited to:

• Translation: Comprehensive translation from the provided English material to Candian French / Québécoise
• Editing & Proofreading: Comprehensive editing to ensure perfect grammar, appropriate business tone, and adherence to Canadian French usage (Quebec context is a major plus).
• Collaboration: Working closely with our non-French speaking Project Team to gather and articulate complex technical information clearly.
• Final Formatting: Ensuring the proposal document is professionally formatted and ready for final submission.

We are looking for a highly specialized freelancer with:

• Native-Level Canadian French Proficiency (Written): Absolute mastery of grammar, syntax, and professional French business terminology, ideally specific to Quebec.
• Technical Proposal Writing Experience: Proven track record of successfully writing complex, technical, and high-value proposals (RFPs/RFQs) for government clients.
• Technical Domain Knowledge (Highly Preferred): Prior experience writing proposals or documentation related to energy/utility projects or complex public infrastructure.
• Bilingual Communication: Fluency in English is required for effective collaboration with our internal technical team and project leads.
