Job summary

Aquent is seeking a Freelance Drone Operator to support their Dallas-based studio team, delivering aerial photography and videography for corporate projects.

You will join a small, flexible crew, plan safe flights, and collaborate with internal producers to translate briefs into compelling visuals.

On-site work in Dallas with badge and background check; 3-month contract with potential for extension; compensation is hourly or day rate commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Active FAA Part 107 certificate required for commercial drone operations.
• Portfolio demonstrating professional aerial video/stills for corporate clients.
• Strong understanding of airspace rules, permissions, and risk assessment.
• Ability to follow creative briefs and work with producers on set.
• On-site Dallas work with badge and background check clearance.

Responsibilities

• Capture drone video and stills for facility overviews and B-roll.
• Plan flights and ensure fully compliant, safe operations.
• Collaborate with producers to translate briefs into shot lists.
• Coordinate with ground crew to match lighting and framing.
• Deliver ready-to-edit aerial footage with consistent color and stability.
