News 12 is seeking a Freelance Special Events Coordinator to represent our station at local community events across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. This role is a dynamic liaison, delivering engaging experiences and maintaining a professional presence on-site.

Responsibilities include setting up booths, assisting with giveaways, taking event photos for social media, and traveling within the tri-state area.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and communication skills.
• Outgoing/friendly personality; professional appearance.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in good standing in-state.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds.
• Ability to take photos/videos with a phone for social media use.
• Social media skills a plus.
• Availability on weekends and nights.
• Willing to travel within the tri-state area.
• Knowledge of News 12 talent and programming a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with superior relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently.
