Job summary

24 Seven Talent is seeking a freelance Data Analyst to support a Consumer Insights & Analytics function in Framingham, MA. You will lead quantitative studies, analyze customer data, and build dashboards to inform marketing, CX and merchandising strategies.

The role requires 3–5 years in analytics, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and excellent presentation abilities. This hybrid position involves onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays to collaborate with the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, analytics or a related field.
• Strong quantitative analysis and research skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Genuine curiosity about customer behaviour, consumer trends and the retail environment.
• Ability to turn complex information into practical, easy‑to‑understand recommendations.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail while maintaining awareness of the broader business context.
• Demonstrated collaboration, organisation and project‑management skills.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead quantitative research initiatives, including monthly and seasonal tracking studies, customer-panel analysis, and panel health and engagement activities.
• Analyze unaided voice-of-customer data to identify customer perceptions, retailer strengths, opportunities, and broader retail trends.
• Develop dashboards, recurring reports, and data visualisations that make consumer insights accessible to business partners.
• Combine quantitative findings with qualitative learnings to explain the drivers behind customer behaviour and performance trends.
• Create clear, compelling presentations that communicate insights, recommendations and business implications to stakeholders.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams across marketing, customer experience and merchandising to support data‑informed decision‑making.
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, quality and on‑time delivery.
