Cover news events, live and recorded, from Capitol Hill to the White House. You will operate broadcast cameras, lighting, and audio, edit clips, and deliver footage quickly in a fast-paced environment, while upholding sound journalistic judgment.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience as a news camera operator or videographer.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating field and newsroom work.
• Proficiency with professional camera and production equipment.
• Solid understanding of framing, lighting, composition, and audio.
• Familiarity with current events and U.S. politics.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Team-oriented, detail-focused, and comfortable under live TV pressure.

You will cover news, both live and recorded, throughout Washington, D.C., including Capitol Hill, the White House, and various federal agencies.

Pay Range: $30-$50/per hour
