Job summary

Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is seeking bilingual and multilingual individuals to act as freelance interpreters and translators. Opportunities are offered as 1099 Independent Contractors with self-directed availability and appointment-based work.

Appointments run Monday through Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with pay negotiated per word. Applicants must be located in and authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and target language with idiomatic proficiency.
• Experience translating in medical, legal, or educational settings.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set your availability and accept appointments based on your schedule.
• Operate as a 1099 Independent Contractor, manage own calendar.
• Complete onboarding and background checks as required.
