Brunswick’s Freedom Boat Club seeks a Dockhand for Fleetio maintenance and light vessel upkeep in a busy marina environment in Clearwater, FL. You will assist with day-to-day operations, interact with guests, and ensure Fleetio records are up to date.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, high school diploma, and a customer-friendly attitude. This full-time position includes on-site work, some weekend/holiday shifts, and opportunities in a boating community.

Qualifications

Dockside Fleetio Maintenance Dockhand

Position Overview: Do you love working outside? Do you love the water? Do you love boating? As part of the talented Freedom Boat Club Operations team, the dockside Fleetio Maintenance Dockhand troubleshoots and performs light maintenance on our fleet of vessels, while assisting with executing the day-to-day operations of the Club. We are looking for customer-focused friendly and upbeat individuals. This position is full-time and requires availability on weekdays, weekends and holidays. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.

Essential Functions

• Troubleshoot and perform light maintenance on vessels
• Own the process of entering and updating the Fleetio software
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
• Anticipate and address guests' service needs
• Speak with others using clear and professional language
• Make and answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquette
• Support team to reach common goals
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
• Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Fleet maintenance background
• Boating experience in and around boats

Working Conditions

• Work outside in the state’s elements and stand for an extended period of time
• Local travel required
• Work in a marina setting on docks that may be fixed or floating
• Work near and on the water
• Safely move on, off and in vessels during various tide and weather conditions

Salary and Benefits

The anticipated pay rate for this position is $16/hr. This position is eligible to participate in valued Brunswick benefit offerings including 401k (up to 4% match), wellbeing program, and product purchase discounts.
