Job summary

Early Warning in Chicago, IL seeks a seasoned fraud risk professional to analyze, create and deploy rules and scores for fraud risk models and applications, working with financial institutions to optimize risk, expense and customer experience within the payments network.

This hybrid role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in fraud risk management, with strong SQL/SAS analytics, excellent communication, and payments experience. Eligible for incentive plans and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
8+ years fraud risk management experience; or 3+ with master.
Strong SQL/SAS data analytics skills.
Proven ability to translate concepts into analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Experience with digital banking or payments.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities in policies, strategies, processes or controls affecting risk, cost and experience.
Perform data-driven analysis to derive impact and recommendations.
Understand network functionality and utilization at a high level.
Create business valuations of the impact of changes.
Drive change through guidance to technology, product and operations teams.
Collaborate with financial institutions and resellers on risk profiles and insights.
Support confidentiality and integrity of systems and data.
