Skill is seeking a Fraud Analytics & Strategy Manager to design, execute, and scale data-driven fraud strategies across consumer, small business, and card portfolios. You will connect data, strategy, policy, and model risk management to safeguard the firm.

This role requires 5+ years in fraud analytics plus strong SAS/SQL, Excel, and Big Data tooling. The position supports a hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite weekly in Dallas/Irving (TX) and other listed locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or related field).
• 5+ years in fraud strategy, quantitative analytics, or risk management within financial services.
• Proficiency in SAS or SQL for data manipulation, strategy monitoring, and performance assessments.
• Strong Excel skills for data modeling and reporting.
• Experience with Big Data environments (Python, Hive, Impala) and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Decision Engine Optimization: Design, test, and implement robust fraud mitigation rules and authorization governance strategies across decisioning systems.
• Model Risk Management & Lifecycle Oversight: Lead Fraud Model Risk activities with modelers, vendors, and validators across validation, monitoring, versioning, and reviews.
• Advanced Data Analytics & Trend Detection: Query large datasets using SAS, SQL, and open-source tools to identify behavioral patterns and translate data into actionable insights for executives.
• Regulatory Compliance & Technical Documentation: Package analyses into regulatory-ready documentation and present findings to senior management and regulators as required.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Fraud Policy, Operations, Product, and IT to align fraud strategies with business growth and incident management.
• Continuous Innovation: Explore new data sources and tools to enhance fraud detection architecture and process efficiency.
