Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, technical, analytical field.
• 3+ years supporting customer-facing technology, analytics, or fraud prevention.
• 3+ years in financial services, banking, fintech, payments, risk management, or e-commerce.
• 3+ years performing advanced analytics using Python, R, or similar tools.
• Strong proficiency with SQL and Excel for data analysis, reporting, and performance monitoring.
• Experience investigating fraud including account takeover, money laundering, and social engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and solve complex challenges.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to translate findings into business recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Review suspicious activity, fraud alerts, and complex cases to identify emerging risks.
• Analyze large datasets to build, optimize, and maintain fraud detection rules, models, and workflows.
• Conduct root cause analyses to investigate client issues and develop solutions.
• Deliver impactful analyses and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advise clients on best practices for ThreatMetrix Digital Identity Network and related products.
• Collaborate with fraud managers, risk analysts, and developers to optimize solutions.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and analytic deliverables using SQL, Excel, Python, and R.
• Research emerging fraud techniques and financial crime risks to provide proactive recommendations.
