Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Fraud Analyst to join the BSA/AML team. You will detect, investigate, and mitigate financial crime risks, ensuring compliance with BSA/AML while protecting customers from fraud and illicit activity.

This full-time role requires a Saturday–Wednesday schedule with remote work on weekends. In-office presence is required Monday through Wednesday at our Palo Alto or New York City offices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct experience in fraud investigation or fraud risk management.
• Working knowledge of BSA/AML regulations.
• Experience using transaction monitoring systems and case management platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including regulatory filings.
• Ability to commit to Saturday–Wednesday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and escalate potential fraud and suspicious activity alerts.
• Review customer activity and transaction patterns to identify red flags.
• Perform CDD/EDD and ongoing monitoring reviews.
• Collaborate with Engineering and senior management on complex cases.
• Maintain documentation of investigations for audits.
• Assist in developing and tuning of monitoring rules and scenarios.
• Stay current on fraud typologies and AML regulations.
• Support audits and regulatory examinations.
• Provide guidance and training on fraud/AML red flags.
