Job summary

Rho is seeking its first Head of Financial Crimes Compliance to build and lead a best-in-class fraud and financial crimes program in New York. You will define the strategic vision and operational framework across business banking and corporate card products.

You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and Compliance to architect scalable systems, analytics, and controls that protect clients and the platform as we grow.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise applying analytics to fraud problems at scale.
• Knowledge of KYB onboarding processes and business customer risks.
• Strong understanding of fraud patterns and controls for B2B contexts.
• Experience leading fraud risk teams.
• Commitment to balancing robust controls with customer experience.
• Track record of delivering results in fast-paced, growth environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Rho’s fraud and AML strategy across business banking and corporate card products.
• Develop advanced fraud detection models and behavioral analytics.
• Oversee onboarding (KYB) and transaction monitoring to prevent fraud.
• Lead incident response and post-mortems to improve models and controls.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and Compliance to implement scalable risk controls.
• Build and scale the fraud risk team and capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement to fraud models and alerts across products.
