Job summary

A leading defense contractor is seeking a Franco-Arab/Francophone Arabic Speaker Translator & Interpreter in Fairfax, Virginia. This full-time position requires an active TS/SCI clearance and involves responsibility for translating and interpreting sensitive materials. The role demands fluency in both Arabic and French, with significant travel outside the Continental US. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of relevant experience. The estimated salary range for this position is between $86,600 and $181,800.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Ability to pass an advanced English test.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated Polygraph.
• Must have an active US Passport and ability to deploy.
• Minimum five (5) years professional experience in translation.

Responsibilities

• Translate and/or transcribe intermediate to advanced-level materials.
• Interpret accurately, with possible simultaneous interpretation.
• Review audio materials and transcribe with high accuracy.
• Prepare reports with excellent English-language communication skills.
