Job summary

Mayor Construction is seeking a Framing Foreman in Spokane. The role involves executing framing carpentry, leading a crew, and coordinating with subcontractors to keep projects on schedule. You will collaborate with the superintendent on daily planning and emphasize safety and efficiency on all framing tasks.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in construction with 3 years in a foreman capacity, strong blueprint reading skills, and a valid driver’s license. Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction experience.
• Minimum 3 years in Foreman or similar leadership role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• License, transportation, and insurable driving required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Spanish conversational level is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Put framing work in place; lead crew and line out tasks for others.
• Collaborate with subcontractors to find solutions and come prepared with options for the superintendent.
• Lead small projects as a working foreman and coordinate crew to maximize productivity.
• Assist the superintendent in creating and executing daily schedules.
• Minimize material waste and manage deliveries, storage and placement of materials.
• Be a proactive safety advocate and ensure OSHA awareness on site.
