Job summary

Michaels is seeking a friendly store associate for our Smithfield, RI location to assist customers, merchandise frames, and handle cash register duties. You will help customers find products, perform framing tasks, and maintain a clean, organized shop floor.

The role involves standing for long periods, lifting heavy boxes/frames, and possible night/weekend shifts in a climate-controlled retail environment. Previous framing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws.
• Build relationships with customers while creating Custom Framing solutions.
• Deliver sales and production results; complete framing orders on time with high quality.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers find products in a well-merchandised, in-stock store.
• Operate cash register and perform cash handling to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes and truck unload/stocking as needed.
• Acknowledge customers and offer solutions; work in a respectful, positive manner.

Store - PROV-SMITHFIELD, RIBuild customer relationships while creating a memorable framing solution for their art. Help customers shop our store and be able to find what they’re looking for.
