Job summary

Newell Brands' Yankee Candle Retail is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate for our Durham, NC store. You will greet guests, understand needs through product knowledge, and drive sales while delivering an exceptionally welcoming experience.

You'll support store operations, assist in inventory, maintain visual standards, and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Prior retail experience and strong communication are preferred; fragrance environment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

High School completion or equivalent GED.
Proven experience in a retail environment (1+ years preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Must be able to work in a fragrance-filled environment.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Guest Experience: Contribute to creating a welcoming store environment focused on delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Understand guest needs through product knowledge and make emotional connections.
Maximize sales potential by implementing company selling strategies and building lasting customer relationships to enhance loyalty.
Drive guest loyalty through the Rewards Loyalty program and KPIs.
Assist in maintaining store appearance by following visual standards, plan-o-grams, signage, and cleanliness.
