Job summary

Acosta is seeking enthusiastic individuals for the role of Brand Ambassador in Great Lakes, Illinois. You'll be responsible for promoting fragrances and cosmetics, creating retail sales, and engaging customers. The role requires flexibility to work varying hours and a high energy approach for customer interaction.

As a part-time independent contractor, you will enjoy the benefit of flexible scheduling while contributing directly to brand success.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work varying hours Thursday–Sunday.
• Ability to stand for the length of the shift (approximately 6 hours).
• Access to a vehicle is an asset.

Job Overview

Are you outgoing and enthusiastic about interacting with people? If promoting the best brands to today’s shoppers sounds appealing, a position as a Brand Ambassador with us is the place for you! We are looking for part‑time Product Demonstrators who will promote fragrances and cosmetics, create retail sales, share samples and provide information to consumers. We’ll provide you with the tools, training and coaching needed to help you meet and exceed your goals!

Responsibilities

• Positively impacting sales volume for in‑house and point‑of‑sale participation
• Confidently approach consumers and communicate key messaging
• Meet sales targets
• Set up and disassemble promotional tables/towers (all items are stored on location)
• Attract new clients by engaging them quickly
• Create an amazing experience for all clients through high‑touch service
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Background check clearance to work on Military installations
• Customer service or sales experience is a plus
• Must be able to work varying hours Thursday‑Sunday
• Hours are flexible between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
• This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position
• Ability to stand for the length of the shift (approximately 6 hours)
• High energy, comfortable approaching and speaking with store customers
• Enjoyment of persuading people positively
• Access to a device with photo capabilities and internet for after‑event reporting
• Access to a vehicle is an asset
