Job summary

SMB Team is seeking an internal, full-time hire to join our team of Fractional COOs serving a portfolio of law firm owner clients. The role requires seasoned operations leadership with a track record of scaling processes, mentoring teams, and delivering strategic guidance to boost performance.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in leadership, 3+ years with law firms in a coaching capacity, and proven ability to manage operations for a $5M+ revenue company.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a leadership role with 3+ direct reports and at least 10 total team members.
• 3+ years experience in a law firm or working with a law firm in coaching, consulting, or fractional capacity.
• Experience creating and managing operations for a company doing at least $5M in annual revenue and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Work with multiple law firms as a COO on a fractional basis (5-17 hours per month per firm).
• Provide strategic advice and input for clients’ business aspects.
• Develop and streamline processes; establish reports and KPIs.
• Act as accountability partner, mentor, and knowledge sharer.
• Support sales by communicating the service to potential clients.
• Present at workshops, events, and weekly sessions as needed.
