We’re a hospitality-focused agency producing high-performing, visually compelling content across social, digital, and brand campaigns. We’re looking for a Fractional Creative Director to own creative vision and campaign concepting, set the standard for our creative output, and lead the team that brings it to life.
This is a part-time, contract role (approximately 50 hours per month) for a senior creative leader with agency experience. You’ll be an embedded creative partner on assigned client accounts: you set the direction, lead the concepts, and build a team that can carry it out on its own. You won’t be the main production resource.
What You’ll Do
- Own the creative vision and direction for assigned client accounts, keeping brand voice, visual identity, and storytelling consistent
- Lead original campaign concepting and creative strategy, including initial concepts and mockups that set direction for the production team
- Partner with clients on creative strategy: lead creative presentations, take part in planning, and guide and defend creative direction
- Give creative direction and oversight to the Art Director, who turns that direction into execution and manages day-to-day production
- Set creative quality standards, brand guidelines, and review processes so work is right before it reaches the client
- Review key deliverables across social content, ad creative, campaigns, and photo/video production
- Coach and develop the assigned creative team, strengthening the Art Director’s decision-making and building the team’s ability to work independently
- Improve briefs, workflows, and delegation so senior time goes to the highest-value creative work
- Work with strategists, client success managers, designers, and freelance creatives
- Track time accurately against client and internal projects
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of creative direction experience, with meaningful leadership experience within an agency or multi-client environment (required)
- Proven ability to manage several clients at once within defined scopes, budgets, and hours
- Strong portfolio of original campaign concepts, branding, graphic design, and digital/social work
- A sharp eye for design: typography, layout, composition, and brand consistency
- Experience leading Art Directors and designers, and delegating execution well
- A track record of developing creative teams to raise quality and reduce reliance on senior intervention
- Ability to turn strategy into compelling, high-performing creative
- Strong understanding of content production (video, photo, and social-first formats)
- Confident presenting to clients and senior stakeholders
- Clear communicator who gives direct, actionable feedback
- Experience with hospitality, travel, or luxury brands is a plus
- Experience with performance-driven creative (paid social, engagement-focused content) is a plus
- Part-time, approximately 50 hours per month (~12 hours per week), flexible based on campaign needs
- Remote-friendly
- Ongoing engagement with potential to expand
Why This Role
This is a chance to shape the creative standard of a growing agency. You’d define how great work looks, feels, and performs, and build a team that delivers it consistently.
