Job summary

Gofractional is seeking a highly skilled Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership on a part-time basis. The role covers financial planning, analysis, risk management and compliance to support sustainable growth across diverse sectors.

The CFO will oversee budgeting, treasury, GAAP/IFRS/IAS/ASC 606 revenue recognition, and regulatory requirements, with strong experience in senior leadership across corporate finance or nonprofit accounting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial leadership experience
• Experience with diverse industries in corporate finance or nonprofit accounting
• Familiarity with advanced financial software tools; government accounting a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive financial analysis including P&L, cash flow, and market analysis
• Develop budgeting processes, expense management, and cost control measures

• Manage treasury, liquidity, risk analysis, regulatory reporting and SOX compliance
• Lead M&A activities including due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide expert financial leadership and guidance to our organization on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in corporate finance, accounting, and financial management, with a proven ability to drive fiscal health and operational efficiency. As a key member of the leadership team, the Fractional CFO will oversee financial planning, analysis, risk management, and compliance, supporting sustainable growth and strategic decision-making across diverse business sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive financial analysis, including profit & loss statements, cash flow forecasting, and market analysis to inform strategic planning.
• Develop and implement robust budgeting processes, expense management strategies, and cost control measures aligned with organizational goals.
• Oversee corporate accounting functions in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and ASC 606 standards for revenue recognition.
• Manage treasury functions such as liquidity management, risk analysis, regulatory reporting, and compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements.
• Provide leadership in mergers & acquisitions activities, including due diligence, valuation analysis, negotiation support, and integration planning.

Experience

• Extensive senior leadership experience in financial management roles within diverse industries such as corporate finance or non-profit accounting.
• Proven expertise in managing complex financial systems using advanced financial software tools; familiarity with governmental accounting is a plus.
• Financial leadership: 5 years (Required)

Compensation & Benefits
