Job summary

NexTier Completion Solutions, Inc. is seeking Field Electronic Technicians for site-based support in Williston, North Dakota. This role focuses on maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing hydraulic fracturing equipment and related electronics to ensure reliable field operations.

You will install electronic/instrumentation equipment, read schematics, and provide training to junior staff while upholding safety and quality standards in a challenging oilfield environment. Experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 4-5 years of field electronic technician experience.
• Pac Premier Certification and CPR Certification preferred.
• Must be proficient with electronic test instruments and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular and scheduled maintenance on hydraulic fracturing equipment.
• Repair equipment in the field using hand and power tools.
• Install and configure electronic/electromechanical equipment.
• Diagnose electrical problems using schematics and manuals.
• Test equipment to ensure compliance with standards prior to deployment.
• Document repairs, inspections, and testing; maintain safety standards.
• Mentor less experienced technicians and train operations personnel.
• Travel to sites for emergency repairs and field support.
