Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking an FPGA Engineer - P2 to join the Effector Digital Products department in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on designing digital electronics circuits for missile guidance, video, and DSP applications, requiring collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.

The candidate will work with high-speed digital electronics, configurable logic, and multi-processor designs, and must have US citizenship with an active security clearance to start.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have digital electronics design and FPGA experience.
• Experience in circuit card design including processors, FPGAs, memory and interfaces.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/hold an active security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and integrate digital electronic modules for missile applications.

Job Description

• The Effector Digital Products department is seeking an Electrical Engineer with digital electronics design and analysis skills to join our team.
• We are looking for candidates willing to collaborate, innovate, and team with our engineers to generate and utilize today's cutting edge technology to design digital electronics circuits that implement missile guidance, video and digital signal processing.
• Our technology base includes high speed digital electronics, configurable logic, and homogeneous / heterogeneous multiprocessor designs. Responsibilities to Anticipate:
• The Digital Design Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, simulation, test, and integration of digital electronic modules and/or CCAs for Missile applications.
• The candidate should be experienced in all aspects of circuit card design including hardware designs with processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces, such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART.
• The candidate will be working in a collaborative team environment.
• US Citizen
