Job summary

Autonomai Recruitment is partnering with a top US market-making technology firm to hire an FPGA Engineer for Chicago, Austin or New York. You will own the complete FPGA lifecycle, from initial idea through RTL, verification, timing closure, bring-up and production deployment, collaborating with software, infrastructure and traders to push latency boundaries.

Ideal candidates have hands-on FPGA experience (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog) and track records in RTL synthesis, timing constraints and

Qualifications

• Hands-on FPGA design experience with VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog.
• Experience owning projects across design, verification and validation.
• RTL synthesis, timing constraints and timing closure.
• Digital simulation and self-checking testbenches.
• Hardware bring-up, debugging and system integration.
• Collaborating across hardware and software to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Own FPGA projects from idea through architecture, RTL design, verification and deployment.
• Research and apply low-latency techniques and evaluate new hardware platforms.
• Work with software engineers, infrastructure teams and traders on latency-sensitive solutions.
